Somaliland may be an unrecognized, self-proclaimed republic surrounded by armed conflict on nearly every side, but it has managed to maintain a peaceful, democratic, and prosperous society for three decades. It’s unusual constitution and unique political system are, in my opinion, big factors in this success. Let me know in the comments if you agree!
